The MBA program at CHRIST Pune Lavasa, is a full-time, two-year program with six trimesters. With an inclination towards ‘Analytics’, it has a rigorous curriculum that combines core courses and a wide range of elective courses. Application Process

All applicants using online mode must visit the online application page.  Register by entering your NAME (as printed on Class 10 Marks Card) EMAIL-ID and set password.  (The email id and mobile number provided will be used for sending confirmation and application status-update messages).

An applicant can apply for as many programmes using the same ID as long as the prescribed eligibility criteria for the specific programme is fulfilled.

 

Guidelines to applicants:

Candidates, who are unable to print the application form due to system/power/internet failure, may log on to the “Application Status” link and enter your email id, password and captcha details to view and print the application form.

After processing the Application Forms, the cut off percentage will be declared and displayed on the University notice board / University website. No postal/telephonic / e-mail communication will be given from the University. The University does not authorize any individual or organization to operate on its behalf.

Admission Process

Candidates will be intimated about the selection status through application status page on the University website.

Note: Candidates must note that if selected, admission is provisional and subject to University rules.

Details on how to process admission will be available on Offer of Admission through ‘Application Status’ link on the University website.

Candidates are required to choose the preferred date and time from available options to facilitate a smooth admission process. 

As per UGC guidelines, fee payment has to be made through online mode. Payment options and details will be provided to selected candidates through ‘Offer of Admission’ on ‘Application status’ on the University website. Fees for first year including Admission Registration fee must be paid in full as part of the admission process.

NRI Category

Students who fall under any of the following classifications, at the time of application may apply under NRI Student category and be liable to pay the fees applicable to the category for the entire duration of the course.

Note: If only condition 5 is satisfied, and not conditions 1 to 4 above, NRI student category fee will be applicable only for the first year.

International Category

  • Produce evidence of passing the qualifying examination in English medium or
  • Have IELTS 6.0 with no sub-score below 5.5 or TOEFL (paper) 550, TOEFL (computer) of 213 or TOEFL (IBT) of 79 scores
  • Intensive Certificate course in English Language (Full Time) conducted from March to May each year or
  • One Semester Certificate course in English Language (Part Time) conducted after regular class hours from June to December.

Note: The International Student category fee structure is binding for the full duration of the programme and cannot be transferred /changed in between.

Candidates from the above listed categories having pursued Indian Educational qualification and who may have applied under the Indian States Category will have to pay the International Student Category Fee. The decision of the Admission committee is final.

Academic Performance

1. Applicants must have all original marks cards of Class 10, Class 12, Undergraduate Degree (Students pursuing their final year/semester must have the statement of marks up to the previous semester/year) for the selection process.

They must Have the score card of the test used to apply for the programme for verification.
The scores of the following tests held in 2023 and 2024 will be accepted:
1. MAT(Sep/Dec2023/Feb:2024) score of 550 and above OR
2. CAT 2024 score of 60 percentile and above OR
3. XAT 2024 score of 60 percentile and above OR
4. CMAT 2024 score of 240 and above OR
5. ATMA 2024 score of 60 percentile and above OR
6. GMAT 2023/24 score of 450 and above OR
7. GRE 2023/24 score of 295 and above.

3. Candidates who are applying for the Dual Degree MBA (CU) + MBA, (FHWS, Germany) Programme should submit the work related documents (Joining Letter/Experience Letter with Latest Salary Slip) (Full Time/Family Business also considered) with one or more year of work experience (Mandatory)

The above mentioned documents need to be uploaded in the given link on your application status login page under the document upload tab within Five (5) days after filling the application form online. Or else your application will be rejected.

The office of admissions will verify the scorecards.

*Applications with no scorecards or not clear scanned copies will be rejected and termed as Not Eligible

*The Verbal Assessment (VA) will be assessed during the PI (Personal Interview) process.

General instructions for applicants reporting for selection process:

1. Candidates have to access their selection process admit card from the link “https://appstat.christuniversity.in” on the University website and print the same. All candidates must read through the contents published in the admit card and must carry the all the required documents mentioned in the admit card along with a printed copy of the admit card.

2. The Centre allotment is based on the candidate’s preference opted to appear for the Selection Process in the application form and further change will not be entertained. However, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) reserves the right to cancel, combine or change the Venue/Centres, depending on the number of candidates in specific Venue/Centres.

3. The preferred date for selection process will be allotted, subject to availability of slots. Request for change in selection process dates, time OR venue will not be entertained.

4. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the Selection Process without the E-Admit Card, Copy of Application Form, Application processing fee acknowledgment slip and mark statements of (Class 10, Class 12, Undergraduate Degree Marks Card (Semester/Year/Consolidated) If results are awaited, then marks card till the last semester/year and Scorecard of Sep MAT 2023 | Dec MAT 2023 | Nov/Dec CAT 2023 | CMAT 2024 | ATMA 2024 | XAT 2024 | GMAT 2023 / 2024 | GRE 2023 / 2024.

5. ID proof will be verified during the selection process. The following may be used as ID proof: Aadhar card/Passport/Voter ID/Recent College ID card.

6. Candidates must report for the above selection process on the allotted date and at least 30 minutes prior to the time stipulated on the selection process admit card.

7. Travel arrangements for out station candidates must be made in advance as per the selection process dates published on our website.

8. Those candidates not reaching the venue at the allotted date and time will not be permitted to take part in the selection process. The candidates are requested to start early to avoid traffic congestions.

9. Request for change in Selection Process dates / timings and change in Centre will not be entertained. Candidates failing to appear for the selection process at the stipulated date and time will be considered as “Not Selected”.

10. Cellular phone, other electronic gadgets etc., are not allowed into the Selection Process Venue.

11. No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the Selection Process of CHRIST (Deemed to be University) at any Centre.

12. All candidates are requested to prepare for a Micro Presentation (Extempore) as part of the Selection Process. Candidates will be asked to speak on any of the topics given in our selection process link on “Topics for Presentation 2024″ during the GD_MP.

13. Candidates have to access their selection process admit card from the link “Application Status” from our website and print the same.

14. The responsibility of satisfying the eligibility criteria for Admission rests with the student/candidate. Issue of the E-Admit Card for the selection process does not imply that the eligibility criteria are satisfied.

15. Important: Minimum Score specified for MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / GRE / ATMA is only an eligibility criteria and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process.

Eligibility

Candidates who have passed the Undergraduate degree examination with 50 % aggregate marks from any recognised University in India or abroad recognised by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply. (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of undergraduate examinations conducted so far). Students writing their final degree examinations during March-June 2024 are also eligible to apply.

 

MAT score of 550 and above OR CAT score of 60 percentile and above OR XAT score of 60 percentile and above OR CMAT score of 60 percentile and above OR ATMA score of 60 percentile and above OR GMAT score of 450 and above OR GRE score of 295 and above.

 

For MBA (CU) + MBA (WMU, USA): Students must also obtain a minimum composite score of 450 in GMAT or 295 in GRE before students formally apply for WMU admission which will be during September 2024. (Mandatory).

 

The minimum Score specified for MAT / CAT / CMAT / XAT / GMAT / GRE / ATMA is only eligibility criteria and the actual score thereof shall have no bearing in the selection process.

Programme Objective

The Post-graduation program in Business Administration (MBA) at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Lavasa gives the students wide career choices and enable students to pursue entrepreneurial ambitions. With specialization in different functional areas, the program equips them with skillsets and competencies to to solve business problems across the various functional domain of Management. The unique blend of holistic education encourages to develop skills to meet global business scenarios and develop analytical and managerial skills for relevant decision making

Programme Structure

The MBA Programme is spread over six tri semesters comprising of core subjects covered in all trimesters and the specialization subjects start from the third trimester onwards. The school offers specializations in Business Analytics, Financial, Marketing & HR. The Business Management course is oriented to educate and train the students in a holistic manner to meet the challenges of the business world. The program is strengthened with various other mandatory activities such as OST (Organisational structure training), SIP – Summer Internship Project, Mentoring sessions and preparation of master thesis with research article publication in the referred journal, Certification programs of general and functional domains, Industrial visits, Club activities etc. The MBA course plan focuses on the development of the student’s competence to meet the needs of the changing and challenging global business scenario. The students engage with live and Capstone projects with tie-ups of industries in their respective field giving them opportunities for experiential learning. Guest lectures are delivered by industry experts that give them proficient knowledge from varied fields throughout the course.

Time of Payment : All the candidates have to pay the I Year fee immediately after confirmation of the admission. II Year fee must be remitted before 31st March of the year.

  1. NRI fee is applicable for the first year for candidates who have studied foreign syllabi in the qualifying examination of study in India. Indian citizens who have studied foreign syllabi in India for the qualifying examination (applying for UG / PG / MPhil /Ph.D. Programme has to be approved by UGC / AIU).

(The above condition is not applicable to NRI and candidates applied under NRI Category).

  1. NRI fee is applicable for the full duration of the programme for candidates who;
