CHRISTITE VIBES is an initiative by CCHS to reach to the CHRIST Fraternity, students and staff alike especially, during the months of Social Isolation throughout the pandemic and beyond. Posters focusing on Self-Growth and Emotional Wellbeing is circulated every week by email across all Bangalore Campuses.
CHRISTITE VIBES is intended to educate the student and staff community on the relevance of emotional wellbeing, to create awareness on mental health, the importance of self-care and to spread the message that we are together in these unusual times. The initiative was also to reiterate on the centre’s availability to address the emotional concerns and provide counselling support to the CHRIST Community.
The CCHS team came up with many initiatives to overcome the challenges of the pandemic and the subsequent lockdown on student life. Support services were offered in online mode and the students were never allowed to feel disconnected.

Laptops, tablets, data pack subscriptions, fee concessions, scholarships were offered to select students.
The centre organises two parent meetings every academic year between parents and faculty including Deans, Heads of Departments, the Registrar and the Vice-Chancellor. These dynamic and interactive sessions are aimed at exchanging ideas and collecting constructive feedback, if any, from the parent community, with the goal of enhancing the overall experience of the student. The online meeting for the Odd semester (2020-21) was conducted successfully with active participation by parents on Zoom app.
The classroom sessions for 1st year UG students were conducted using platforms like Webex and Google Classroom. These sessions helped in building rapport with students, and also in sharing topics relevant to coping with the pandemic-led challenges. Online Staff Development sessions for non-teaching staff.
As an outreach for non-teaching staff, the counsellors created interactive sessions on topics like Resilience, Emotions, Tips To Improve The Way We Think.
