CAPS, in collaboration with the Alumni Association of Christ University, launched “BRIDGING HORIZON,” a platform connecting master’s students with alumni. This initiative provides students with valuable insights into the educational and professional journeys of alumni. Proposed by Clifford Mohan Pal, the platform emphasizes on culture, business, and work-life balance.
During the launch, alumni such as Ashish, Allisha Mohite, Naveen, Mohammad Abdullah, and Dipu Sebastian shared their experiences, enriching the discussions. “BRIDGING HORIZON” fosters connections, promotes mentorship, and enhances students’ understanding of various career paths. The platform offers networking, career insights, practical exposure, and inspiration, benefiting both students and alumni.
The re-Caps event, organized by CAPS, offers personalized academic support and exam preparation strategies for 1st and 2nd-year Law students. Senior student trainers provide tailored guidance to clarify challenging concepts, resolve doubts, and share effective study techniques. Through one-on-one sessions, Re-Caps fosters a supportive environment that builds confidence and reduces exam anxiety. This initiative connects students with experienced peers who understand their challenges, helping to improve academic performance. Re-Caps is an excellent opportunity for targeted support and enhanced exam readiness through peer mentorship.
“LinkedIn Optimization and the Power of Networking,” the workshop, led by Ms. Anjali Laddha, founder of Degree2Destiny, aimed to empower students by redefining their career journeys. In collaboration with the Centre for Academic and Professional Support and the Institutions Innovation Council, Degree2Destiny, an educational technology company, highlighted the importance of social media and networking for a successful career. Students learned how LinkedIn is not just a digital resume, but a platform to showcase skills, connect with professionals, and unlock future opportunities. The workshop equipped students with 21st-century skills and AI-driven LinkedIn optimization techniques to enhance their professional presence and career prospects.

Recognizing the importance of these skills in today’s professional world, Christ University, Pune, Lavasa, in collaboration with the Centre for Placement and Career Guidance and the Centre for Academic and Professional Support, equipped students with premium LinkedIn accounts for six months. This initiative empowered students to enhance their professional presence, unlock new opportunities, and effectively leverage the platform for career growth
