Peer Education System is an open elective course offered by the CCHS for all second year undergraduate students of the campus.
The students have to undergo 36 theory hours, 6 mentoring sessions, 3-5 mock sessions as a part of their training and 3 sessions amongst their peers (1 informal and 2 formal).
Peer educators who successfully complete the programme are awarded 2 credits and a letter of appreciation by the end of the programme.
Psycho Education Session
Psycho-education classes are offered to all the first year undergraduate students at the beginning of every academic year.
These classes are a way to break the ice with the students and make them feel comfortable in a new environment.
After the training, the trained peer educators will be taking psycho-education sessions in the 1st year classes.
